Final Project: Distribution

In the distribution of my product, I feel that intensive distribution will be best. “Producers of convenience products and common raw materials typically seek intensive distribution—a strategy in which they stock their products in as many outlets as possible.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011) Marketing: An Introduction. page 24 of 50 — printed page 323) This will send the boxes to grocery stores all over the west coast. I’ll start with grocery stores here in the west coast, such as Smiths, Fresh&Easy and Albertsons. In some cases, a company may want to compete in or near the same outlets that carry competitors’ products.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011) Marketing: An Introduction. page 24 of 50 — printed page 323) Once the product takes off more, it will be sold in more and more areas of the country as the demand becomes stronger.
